The big catch up

First I want to say sorry! It has been over 2 months  since I wrote on my blog.

I have been so busy!

Firstly we were trying to move house but then my grandad died and it was all too much.We got rid of lots so I decided to move rooms so I now have the smallest room in the house but I love it. I also have more of my books downstairs in the snug. Look!

NEW FRIEND

At the beginning of half term I made a friend called Sophie. It all started when her and her mum came to look at my  mums glass. We played some games and since then we have been meeting each other alot. She's really fun, last time we watched Hotel Transylvania. It is great.

HALLOWEEN PARTY and sleepover

2 DAYS before Halloween I went to my best friends, El's house.We ate tea,that night we were sitting on her bed watching NICKELODEON. I love nickelodeon even though I dont have a telly I watch their shows on youtube.My favourite one is Icarly it is the best. Suprisingly  we went to bed at like 9.30 without being told to. How weird. Anyway the next day was the best we waited and waited untill finally the time came to party at the halloween party in Marston. We went as twin vampires wearing my short pink and blue wigs. I won a certificate for best dancing and a packet of malteasers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Halloween

We went trick or treating around our village. I went as Alice in Wonderland vampire and I went with a freind called Sophie.I got tons of sweets.

2 new cars

Yay!About 5 weeks ago we got a  Doblo as our main car as our other car broke.
Also about 2 weeks ago we got a peugeot as we can't survive on one car anymore.

Cinema
 
We went to the Cinema and saw How to train your dragon 2. It was brilliant.

Medieval

I finished my Medieval project and I am really pleased with it.

Rivers and Oceans

I also finished a project on Rivers and Oceans. Here are a few pages from it.

Gym party

I went to a friends party, she is called Jessica. She had a gym party. I have always loved gym and I loved the party.The only thing was on the way I trapped my finger in the door. Don't worry - I can still cartwheel or I would literally die. I also really badly bruised my knee.

I did some lego animation inspired by a free lego story pack we got.

This is my strange way of working but comfy. I have done lots of work including finishing 2 projects, finishing key stage 2 on BBC bitesize and nearly finishing yr 6 on Conquer Maths.

More friends

Yay I had my freinds round  and we did face painting.

 I'm scared what is going to end up on my face.

Look! We grew this pumpkin. It is huge.

In November it was my other sisters Birthday. She had friends stay all weekend!

 
We went on a Stuart day where we learnt about the Stuart's costumes, coding and weapons.

I also went to the Stem centre for several sessions on mixtures, the MK art gallery session making puppets and glasses, a new gym club which is amazing, a second drama club which is brilliant, helped Mum with craft fairs and lots more.

Sept Wk 4 & Wk 5 - Eng, Maths, illness and friends

I spent last week doing Maths, English, revising my old projects, coughing and sneezing. So sorry that there is nothing about last week that is especially interesting!

This week was ok, but again lots of Maths and English, although my cold got much worse by the end of it. 

First some of my home school friends came round on Tuesday morning. We played just dance 2 on the Wii. It was so funny.

Then in the afternoon I had an ex-school friend C round. We went to the rec (park) and played just dance 2 when we came back. The next day H, another school friend, came, and we did the exact same thing. Then on Thurs I went to my BFF's house and we did some video sketches for our web show Tarise. That's it for this week please feel welcome to comment.

Sept Wk 3 - New drama, science and lots of walks!

I tried a Home Education drama group which was really fun. My best friend E was there. We did all about animals and had to act like the animals. I was a cat and a show off. We had to do a little play about it. It was quite far away though so I'm not sure if we will go back especially as Mum thought we should survive with one car and now that car has broken down. :-(

I did a lot of science as we worked through a book in the library on materials, evaporation, condensation, melting and solidifying. We also finished going through a book at home on cogs and wheels, friction and pulleys.  We made our own cogs:-

I also revised the part of the body from a kit we had from the British Heart Foundation.

We also did a lot of walking as my sister is refusing to go to school by bus, we don't have a car all the time (especially now it's not working) and my Mum won't let her walk all the way home on her own.  Most of the walk is through the fields and its very long but there are a lot of blackberry bushes so it's not too bad.

More walking... further to go yet and I can't do any more! That day, we had to walk there and back twice too. Even the dogs were tired at the end.

I am trying to go on Wii Fit for 30 minutes a day. I am really good at the cycling one and keep unlocking new levels. I also did some netball. I am getting quite good at getting it in the net....

 

We haven't finished building the dolls house yet, but I am playing with it anyway.

I started learning about the middle ages, castles and knights as we've quite a few books on this subject. My Dad is an archeologist and loves history so he will be pleased.

 Tonight it's drama. I can't wait! Oh, but first there is another walk...

Sept wk 2 - Not back to school picnic, penguin, dolls house and crafts

Mum wasn't well so I did a lot of reading and some maths. 

We went to a Not Back to School Picnic in Shuttleworth play area.
The first thing I did when I got there was say "Hi" to my best friend Elise. We did play but we mostly made Tarise videos. We made up lot's of new sketches for our web show Tarise. There were a lot of other people there. It is a fantastic play area.

I was given my parts in drama. I am Mazie(normal person), Azumi(Alien) and the Foreman(boss person) so I am really pleased. The show we are doing is Little shop of horrors.

I also finished my Penguin project which I started ages ago.

My Mum and I are decorating a Georgian style dolls house. We put it together and painted it. I can not wait till it's done.

 I did a little more cross stitch.

 I decorated a wooden jewellery box.

 I learnt about wildlife from the back of a poster we had.

 I did a magic show for my Dad's Birthday.

 I also did a lot of cooking. :-)
