AHHHHHHHHHH! On Monday, guess what..... I have to do 5 hours of sport for 4 weeks to gain 2 awards. The first one was all about football and I really hurt my knee.We were split into groups, then into teams and practised against each other, boys against girls. We learnt PACE which stands for participants, area, communicate, equipment and concentrates on two of these for the first half of the day and the other two for the rest of the day.
We also went swimming as usual and Niamh, Freya's friend joined us.
On Wednesday I went to cubs and did lot's of sport's such as rugby, running races, skipping races and more but at the end we did a 1000 meter run.
I finished Conquer Maths year 5 and I've only been doing it for 6 months. Yey!
As you know if you've read my other posts, we have an allotment and we grow lot's of fruit like strawberries so we made them into juice as we were given a juicer! However, you don't get a lot of juice from loads of fruit and there is a lot of wastage so my Mum wasn't very impressed with it.
I made banana bread. It was very fun to make and it was delicious.
Yesterday afternoon, E and I, went to wrest park and we met Paul Martin from a programme called Flog it. We also got his autograph. We took some objects to be identified and find out how much they were worth, but there was a 4 hour wait so we didn't bother.
I love loom bands but it is so hard with the board and mine barely came out right, so I sort off gave up. Luckily, shortly after I gave up, I was taught a cool technique with my fingers from my best friend. Now I can make a bracelet in 3 mins.
I have really wanted to start gym again and when I went to cubs sport day, I saw a gym on the way there. I tried it out the next day and it was brilliant. I did it with my sister and it turns out she is the next level up (which we'd guessed) but it was perfect for me. I also made a friend. Hopefully we will start it in September.
